The real passion I have for jewellery and handcrafted jewellery manufacture comes from a lifelong involvement with the craft.
My father Chris Andrews was a highly respected jeweller, valuer and gemmologist. As a child I spent a lot of time with Dad at his workshop in Shenton Park. One of my earliest and fondest memories is the smell of my Fathers workshop.
In 1997 my career as a jeweller began in earnest when I commenced an apprenticeship under my father’s guidance, where I worked with him at his Innaloo shop for the next 8 years. Following this I had the opportunity to be the Master Jeweller with one of the jewellers in Subiaco. I relished the role for another 7 years continuing to hone and develop my craft and style.
In 2012 I opened the doors of James Andrews a jewellers in Subiaco, Perth. Specialising in diamonds, custom made jewellery, engagement rings and wedding rings.
I am proud of the legacy from my father and passionate for my craft. My studio is set up for making high quality handmade jewellery.
